Sing a song for the lonely angel.
The one who grew up to fast,
Who thinks back and remembers a happy childhood past
And wonders what went wrong.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
The one who would explain herself if she could
But doesn't think she would be understood
And so she buries her secrets deep.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
Who's tired of feeling second best.
Who's being subjected to some cruel test
And feels as if she's failing.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
The one who just watches and observes as though she has not a care.
Even though she has her own thoughts and opinions to share
She won't tell them because she can bear no more ridicule.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
Who's tired of feeling ancient when she's only a mere teen.
Who has many small deeds and actions go unseen.
If she doesn't do them they won't get done and she won't leave them for someone else.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
Who folded up her wings 'cause she feels she can't fly,
She's been reaching and reaching and can't touch the sky
She's being held down by others.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
The one who wants her friends to feel like her friends.
But just people trying to makes ends meet ends
But rather an extension of her very self.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
Who wants him to notice her
But who knows he won't not now not ever,
Not while she around that other one who's so much better.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
Who's tired of feeling invisible,
Who's tired of seeming invincible,
Who just wants to be normal.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
The one who wants to smile for real
The one who wants her scars to heal
And to live her life to the fullest.
Sing a song for the lonely angel
See if you can make her smile or laugh
Make her see her talents, all of them or even half.
See if you can help her fly back up to her heaven.

Lonely
I'm all alone
though you're all here.
Surrounding me,
smothering me
with your happiness
that I can't match.
I know you
care for me,
care about me.
But I feel like
you don't see me.
And that makes
me not real.
Island of lonely
in a sea of happiness.
Joyful, unconcerned.
Maybe it's because
I won't open up
and let you in.
But it feels like
it's more than that.
Feeling claustrophobic,
its closing in.
Crushing me.
I can't breathe.
Help...
Now I'm really alone.
You've forgotten
I was ever there.
You don't recognize
me anymore.
Have I changed
that much?
You haven't changed
at all.
It seems like
you're immo
Literature
Lonely
Cold on the outside; Empty on the inside
This feeling is something that cannot be beaten
In all my attempts at overcoming it I have fallen
Its power is too overwhelming for one to conquer
Lost in this darkness; Overcome with fear and pain
My only wish is to have someone here to rid me of it
Someone here to hold me tightly and whisper in my ear
"Everything will be ok, I'm here now"
Only they arent here, nor are they coming
Oh how I long to be rid of this feeling
But onward I must tread with its weight upon my back
Unable to be rid of this hurt and pain
For loneliness knows no company...
Literature
ALONE
No one can see the pain that we hide,
They're happy for us to keep it inside,
Our fear is our own; they don't want to know,
Why sould we involve them; why should it show.
You live your whole life in confusion and fear,
The need to feel something unbearably near,
Half of you living, Half of you gone,
And inside you know what your doing is wrong.
The thing's that can help, the thing's that may heal,
Are the flame or the blade and the sting of the steel,
The destruction of skin means the death of your soul,
But there's nowhere to run when your living alone.
